Two interesting book shops sell both new and antique books. We've two Pubs, and Angaston has its own Cheese making factory with sales counter. Early on Saturday mornings, the popular Barossa Produce Markets sell an extensive variety of Barossa produced food including meats, fruit, jams, cakes and biscuits, herbs, olive oils etc. etc. Relax with a massage in the privacy of your own room from 'Healing Hands Mobile Massage'. Scenery throughout the area is superb. barossa valley accommodation barossa valley accommodation barossa valley accommodation There are so many things visitors can do and see in this area. The Barossa Valley is famous for its gourmet food and fine wines, it really is a shame not to spend at least several days here so you can see and experience some of South Australia's loveliest countryside. Ideally, make Marble Lodge your "base" for a few days, consider taking day trips to Clare Valley (another famous wine district 1 hour away), historic Burra (2 hours) or to the vast areas of irrigated oranges, stone fruits and vines of the Riverland (1 hour). Marble Lodge was built in 1914 -15 of locally mined pink, grey and white marble, and enjoys a spectacular setting with views through the trees in all directions, overlooking the lovely village of Angaston and down through the valley to Nuriootpa. The property consists of 6 acres in total, with 2 acres of delightful gardens. The homestead and B&B Lodge are set well back from the road ensuring complete quiet and privacy. Consider coming for a night or more, enjoy the clean air, the peace and romance, and waken to the morning chorus of the many lovely birds who live in our garden. All this is just one hours drive from Adelaide - in the hills and and heart of the Barossa Valley.Barossa Valley accommodation, bed and breakfast, accommdation Barossa Valley There are two ways to Make a Booking: First, check if the dates on our Calendars are available for the nights you wish to stay, then decide which of our Suites you wish to book. 1) You may prefer to quote your credit card details by phone - ring us on 0412 794-213.
